  • DO YOU MAKE HOUSE CALLS?
    • This happens to be one of our most frequently asked questions. While we LOVE plants, interior design, outdoor decor, etc, we are unable to offer this. If we did, we would never be in the shop!
    • Should you have an area that needs a bit of green, furniture, or decor, take a picture and show it to us when you make it in the shop. We will be more than happy to help you select which colors, plants, or pieces of furniture to go in the space. Be sure to have rough measurements should your project require them.
  • WHAT IS CURBSIDE COFFEE?
    • Curbside coffee was born out of the desire to make getting coffee from our small shop as easy and as quickly as possible. We realize your life is nonstop and full of things you'd rather do than stand in line and wait. To get all of the details and how it works, head over to Curbside Coffee.
  • I HAVE A COMMERCIAL PROJECT I WOULD LIKE TO GET AN ESTIMATE ON:
    • Commercial projects are incredibly fun for us. We love suggesting and installing, when possible, plants for office buildings or even restaurants and venues. If you'd like us to help you out, use the Connect Page to give us all of the details.
  • CAN I RESERVE THE COURTYARD & SHOP FOR A PARTY OR EVENT?
    • Absolutely! We love that our community loves our Courtyard and shops as much as we do. Please use the Connect Page to send us a message with all of the details.
  • IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO HAVE A PRIVATE SUCCULENT CLASS?
    • Of course! Our minimum for any private class we host is $45/person with a minimum of 10 attendees. Ideally, events are scheduled 2 weeks ahead of time to give us ample amount of time to source the best and freshest materials for your class. Please use the Connect Page in order to schedule your event.
  • DO YOU SPEAK TO CLUBS OR AT EVENTS?
    • We do! We are happy to share our plant knowledge, design ideas, and any other topics we specialize in. The best way to schedule that is to send us a message through our Connect Page.
  • I AM A MAKER AND WOULD LOVE TO HAVE MY GOODS IN YOUR SHOP:
    • Thank you so much for the consideration! More than anything, we love supporting local artisans and businesses. We have great plans for Garden Living and The Grounds that we're so excited to keep pushing towards. If you feel as though your products match our shop, please use the Connect Page to drop us a line!
  • I SIGNED UP FOR A CLASS, BUT DIDN'T RECEIVE A TICKET?
    • That's all you have to do! We'll have a list of attendees for that night's class. All you have to do is show up at the specified date and time of your class. We're ecstatic you'll be joining us! We love hosting classes and sharing our plant knowledge with friends.
  • SOMETHING CAME UP AND I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND MY CLASS:
    • We realize that sometimes life happens and people are not able to attend a class they signed up for. If you let us know at least a week in advance, we will be able to reschedule your spot. Please see "CLASS CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING" for all of the possible solutions. 
  • SHIPPING & ONLINE ORDERS:
    • First of all, thank you so much for choosing a small, locally owned business. We can't tell you how much it means to us! Please know that your package will arrive safely packaged and to you in a timely manner. Generally speaking, most packages are sent the most economical method, depending on the size and delivered within the time frame requested.
    • In order to minimize our waste, we reuse packing materials from shipments we receive. We hate seeing plastic go in the trash and try to give it as many uses as possible before it makes its way, hopefully, to a recycling facility. Know that your package is safely shipped using as little shipping material as possible. This not only helps to minimize plastic waste, but to provide you with the least expensive shipping rates possible.
    • Shipping plants can be quite tricky and often times requires a bit of ingenuity on our part. Please allow an extra day or two for us to ensure your plant will arrive to you just as perfect as it was when we placed it in the box.
    • If you would like to return your order, please note that you are 100% responsible for return shipping. In the event that we provide you with a return shipping label, please be aware that shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
  • CLASS CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING:
    • Occasionally life happens and you aren't able to make it to things you have scheduled. We understand that 100% and have a few solutions to help.
    • If you let us know at least one (1) week in advance that you are not going to be able to make it, we can either reschedule you in an open spot in another class or refund your order.
    • Less than one week's notice and we are unable to refund your order since we have already committed to the supplies for your spot. In the event that this happens, we can reschedule you to attend another class.
    • Two days (48 hour) and day of cancellations: supplies for your class have already arrived at the shop and are awaiting you. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund your spot. Rescheduling may be possible if there are open spots in another class.
  • PLANT RETURNS:
    • Garden Living makes every effort to train our staff to ensure they are knowledgable on exactly what each plant requires to not just live, but to thrive. Your space's conditions are taken in to account when we suggest plants in order to provide you with a plant that is best suited for your environment.
    • We do not believe your life or habits should revolve around caring for plants and will suggest a plant best suited to your situation, not one that needs to be moved every day. We take great pride in offering exceptionally grown, disease free, strong plants to our clients. We make every effort to ensure you never leave with a plant that is less than ideal for your space. It is because of this that all sales on plants, plant arrangements, etc, are final and not refunds or exchanges will be offered.
  • HARD GOOD RETURNS:
    • All hard good returns are accepted if in original packaging, undamaged, unused, returned within 30 days of original purchase, and accompanied by a receipt. If no receipt is provided, your purchase must be verified to be within 30 days or store credit will be issued in the form of a gift card.
  • PRODUCT WARRANTIES:
    • Many lines we stock offer a 10 Year Guarantee or Lifetime Warranties. In the event that you would like to make a claim, please give the shop a call! If you do not have time for a call, please send us a message through our Connect Page. We would love to take care of it for you. 
  • GIFT CARDS:
    • From the original date of purchase, gift cards expire at the end of 6 months. We have found that most clients use their gift cards within ~3 months of receiving them. In the event a gift card is lost, one will be reissued to you after being verified that it is still valid. We make every effort to note the expiration date on every gift card so that the recipient is aware of the expiration date.
